I designed the ‘Anne-Marie’ t-shirt in 2022 for the band Unstuck. It was designed to coincide with the launch of the single of the same title. The t-shirt was made from elements I had designed and illustrated for the poster promoting the event. I also designed the band’s logo which is used on the back. It was a cool project and sometimes I spot people around the place wearing these which is nice!
The ‘Crack in Your Brain’ t-shirt was created for the band Spearside, in conjunction with the release of their single of the same name. This design was created over about a month. The illustration was developed from scratch, with significant input from the band, to make sure the final design was suited to the vision they had.
The band ended up liking the t-shirt design so much, they decided to evolve it into a single cover.
The design had to be worked to be printable on dark shirts with a light ink and light shirts with a dark ink. This meant making a negative version of the design. You can see in this image what they looked like. It doesn’t look that impressive here but trust me it was really confusing!
