Hey!

I’m Ferdia, a Dublin-based illustrator, animator and designer from the Northwest of Ireland. My background is a BSc in Creative Media and I decided to specialize in visual media around 2022. I work with various art forms but mostly digital in the last few years.

With illustration, I love character study and portraiture as well as story telling, composition and tone. I love illustration because there’s always room to improve and change styles.

Another large chunk of my work is animation. Traditional style, frame by frame animation is always a huge interest and holds a nostalgic place in people’s hearts.

I love working on projects where I’m part of a team just as much as I like working solo.
